Victoria Falls, Zambia

Day 1:           Livingstone, Zambia (Victoria Falls)
On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel of your choice. In the evening transfer to the jetty for the sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The cruise is along the river boundary of the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, around Siloka Island and back to The Waterfront jetty. The total cruise time is approximately 2.5 hours. From the boat, sightings of elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink are common. There are also abundant, hippos, crocodiles and bird life. Aboard the boat there is complimentary bar and serve freshly baked snacks. An experienced guide accompanies cruise and has good knowledge on the wildlife and local history of the area. Day 2:            Livingstone, Zambia (Victoria Falls)
After breakfast depart on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world. This walking tour takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the fall. Remainder of the day at leisure – return to the fall on your own (guests of the hotel have unlimited access), take an optional tour into the town or to a local village or relax at the hotel. There are a number of optional excursions available to fill your day: try a helicopter flight over the falls (flight of the angels), whitewater river rafting, game viewing on land or by boat, or a cultural visit to Chief Mukuni's village. Day 3:           Depart Livingstone

Morning at leisure followed by a transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight to home or to your chosen safari or to Okavango Delta for a 4 nights safari. (B)

This 77-roomed hotel, currently under construction and due to open in October 2007 The Hotel will be situated on the famous Zambezi River, in close proximity to Victoria Falls. It will offer restaurant and conference facilities for large groups as well as safari excursions and river cruises, to name but a few of the activities tropical swimming pool, restaurant, bar will ensure guests needs are taken care of. The Islands of Siankaba comprises two densely forested Islands in the Zambezi River 24 miles upstream from the Falls themselves. Sussi Lodge  named after David Livingstone’s faithful friends. The accommodation consists of an exclusive, upmarket lodge .The Lodge  takes full advantage of the enchanting river-bank setting. Ten luxury tree-houses are built into the living canopy of giant ebony trees lining the bank. Each unit has a private view of the Zambezi from its own deck among the branches.
