5 Days/ 4 Nights Extension to Okavango Delta

Experience a taste of the wild, like nowhere else on earth, the incredible wildlife of the world famous Okavango Delta. The Delta is one of the natural wonders of Africa combine that with incredible hosts and unbelievable accommodation. A wide variety of activities are available such as tiger fishing, boating on the river, canoeing, and even white-water rafting. You could also see zebra, feedback, red lechwe, sitatunga, sable, roan and impala.

Day 1 & 2              On arrival at Maun airport, you are met by a representative of the Camp that you have selected and are assisted onto your air charter (soft bags -please) to the lodge of your choice. Spend 2 nights in the seclusion and luxury of the Lodge. Game activities are undertaken by safari vehicle, on foot and then, depending on water-levels, either by motorized boat or Mekoro dug out canoe.
Overnight on a Fully Inclusive Basis

Day 3 & 4              Transfer between your selected camps and continue to experience this magnificent wilderness area – the Okavango Delta is a 17,000 square km area of wilderness – during the dry season (winter) game concentrate at the various rivers and water-holes and these in turn attract the predators such as lion, cheetah, the elusive leopard, wild-dog and hyena.
Overnight on a Fully Inclusive Basis

Day 5                   Transfer from the Lodge to Maun airport in time to connect with your flight back to Johannesburg  (or Windhoek)

 Included: Accommodation , activities,  laundry , all meals, refreshments, local spirits and wines (excluding premier brands) emergency medivac, park fees – charter flights.

Camp Moremi (Land Camp ) ( 11 East African style tents on teak platforms.)
offers the opportunity of seeing Africa's big game by safari 4x4 vehicle, all the major game can be seen, Cape buffalo, elephant, lion, many specie of antelope, giraffe and even wild dog.  Camp Moremi also offers motorized boat activities.

Camp Okavango (Water Camps) (11 East African style tents on teak platforms.) or  Xugana Island Lodge (8 reed & thatch chalets) - At these camps experience the magic of the waters of the Delta, lagoons, channels, the resultant aquatic pant life, relax in dug out canoes or explore the waterways by motorized boat. Guided game walks are also offered at these two Camps.

For the best game-viewing experience we recommend that you spend time at both ‘water camps’ where the emphasis is on walking safaris and mekoro (traditional dugout canoe) and and ‘land camps’ where safaris are undertaken in a 4x4 open sided safari vehicle.

Note: These packages can also operate from/to Kasane airport – in the Chobe region ( a surcharge will apply due to the extended flight time into the Delta)  This makes for a delightful Okavango Delta experience with the added option of seeing the Victoria Falls.
