. 8 DAY / 7 NIGHT: KENYA FAMILY ADVENTURE SAFARI - 1 ( VA)

Both Siana Springs Tented Camp and Sabuk Lodge are family oriented and creates perfect atmosphere for family bonding. Siana Springs located in the heart of Siana Group Ranch offers unique opportunities for thrilling walking safaris, night drives and fly-camping along the seasonal streams beneath the Ngama Hills, while our hosts will also treat you to uniquely uncontrived interpretive tours of their manyattas (Maasai Houses), cattle bomas, cultural and community facilities.  In Sabuk Lodge is another fun place for families with lots of wilderness activities on offer. Enjoy guided camel treks led by the Masai, which allow you to experience the real African wilderness where elephants, buffalo and lion roam freely. Other activities include game drives, nature walks, river swims, fishing, sundowners and village visits. Whatever you do, Sabuk is a superb family retreat that offers great variety and relief to the children after the daily intensive game drives of the Masai Mara.

DAY 1 - Nairobi - Macushla House 
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by To Africa Tours and Safaris and transferred to Macushla House, a quaint private house in a quiet suburb of Nairobi. The house offers gorgeous gardens with a pool and lovely living areas. Today, relax by the pool and recover from the overnight flight.

DAY 2 - Masai Mara , Siana Camp 
Feeling refreshed, you will visit the Giraffe Centrex for endangered Rothschild giraffe, followed by the Daphne Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (as featured in BBC's Elephant Diaries). After lunch, fly to a delightful fenced camp in the Masai Mara with spacious tented accommodation. An introductory nature walk with a naturalist is followed by an off road game drive.

DAY 3 - Masai Mara , Siana Camp
 After early breakfast, we visit the Masai tribe and then continue onto a full-day game drive in the game-rich reserve. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch under an acacia tree.

DAY 4 - Masai Mara, Siana Camp 
Today, take an optional balloon safari or partake in another full-day game drive. Our professional driver/guide will introduce you to the magnificent birds of Kenya. Return to camp before sunset for an exhilarating bush dinner (minimum 6 persons necessary).

DAY 5 - Laikipia , Sabuk Lodge
Today, take a charter flight to Laikipia region, facing Mt. Kenya. Here, perched high above the Ewaso Nyiro River lies a most delightful lodge with only 5 exquisite cottages open to the wilderness. Sabuk Lodge is a fun place for families, with lots of wilderness activities on offer and a great host to look after you. It specializes in guided camel treks led by the Masai, which allow you to experience the real African wilderness where elephants, buffalo and lion roam freely. You may stay in fly camps by the river, great for bonding, or return to the lodge for the night. Other activities include game drives, nature walks, river swims, fishing, sundowners, village visits and just chilling out. Whatever you do, Sabuk is a superb family retreat that offers great variety and relief to the children after the daily intensive game drives of the Masai Mara. In our opinion, this family safari combined with a beach holiday provides just about the most perfect family holiday in Kenya.

 DAY 6 - Laikipia, Sabuk Lodge
Full day in Sabuk with morning and afternoon game drives with other activities.

DAY 8 - Depart  
After breakfast, take a charter flight to Nanyuki and connect with your scheduled flight to Nairobi. You may extend you stay with a beach holiday, or tonight you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. An optional dayroom at Macushla House is recommended.
