Arguably one of Africa’s best kept secrets, Tanzania features vast, open grasslands allowing for unsurpassed wildlife sightings. Fly to the remote Selous Game Reserve, a World Heritage Site renowned for largely unexplored bush, teaming with game. Enjoy game drives, walking safaris or a boat excursion on the Rufiji River. Spend one night fly-camping at Saadani National Park in the heart of the bush set on the Indian Ocean. 

Day 1 – 3: Selous Game Reserve
Upon your arrival at Dar es Salaam Domestic Airport you connect onto the scheduled flight to Kiba Airstrip in the Selous.  Daily flights depart at 08:30 arriving at 09:15 or in the afternoon at 14:30 arriving at 15:15.  From the airstrip a short game drive transfer (20 minutes) will bring you to camp

Spend three nights at Sand Rivers.  Accommodation is in open fronted thatched cottage with en-suite facilities.  Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities and park fees. 

Activities include game-drives, walking safaris, boating on the Rufiji River and fishing

Day 4: Saadani National Park
Day at leisure until your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam.  Flights depart on a Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 13:25 arriving at 14:00.  On arrival you will be transferred by road to Saadani Safari Lodge, a transfer of approximately 3 to 4 hours

Spend one night at Saadani Safari Lodge.  Accommodation is in a tented cottage with en-suite facilities.  Your stay is on a full board basis

Day 5: Saadani National Park
Enjoy an early morning game-drive.  Around 14:00 you will be transferred (game-drive transfer) to Saadani fly-camp

Spend one night at Saadani fly camp.  Accommodation is under a mosquito net or in a solid tent located close by if you get too scared.  Facilities include a hot shower and open toilet.  Your stay is in on a full board basis.

Day 7: Dar es Salaam
Day at leisure until your road transfer to Dar es Salaam Airport where our services end

• Rates are subject to a minimum of two guests traveling
