7 Day / 6 Night Zanzibar Explorer
Visit the tranquil island of Zanzibar, renowned for its beaches and affectionately referred to as the “Spice Island” due to the mouthwatering array of spices grown on the island. Start in Stone Town, recently declared a World Heritage Site, and enjoy a half-day spice tour. The inviting aromas of cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and lemongrass indulge the senses and evoke a romantic past. Spend two nights in the bustle of Stone Town, before transferring to the coast for four peaceful nights. Enjoy an array of water activities, or simply relax on the sun-drenched beach.
Day 1: Stone Town, Zanzibar
Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport you will be met by a To Africa Tours & Safaris representative for your road transfer to Beyt Al Chai.
Spend one night at Beyt Al Chai. Accommodation is in a prince room with an en-suite bathroom. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Half Day Spice Island Tour
Zanzibar, also known as the “Island of Spices”, evokes a romantic past embalmed in the aroma of cloves, cinnamon, cardamon and lemon grass. This tour leads through a profusion of greenery in the countryside seeing, smelling and tasting a variety of mouth watering tropical seasonal fruits including jackfruit, pineapple, green coconut and many others.
Spend one night at Beyt Al Chai. Accommodation is in a prince room with an en-suite bathroom. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 3 – 6: Coastal Resort, Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to the Palms (approximately 1 hour).
Spend four nights at The Palms. Accommodation is in a villa with an en-suite bathroom. Your stay is on a full board basis
Day 7: Zanzibar Airport
After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Zanzibar Airport where our services end.

Explore the magic and mystery of Zanzibar on this 7 day / 6 night dream island holiday. Tour the fascinating old city of Stone Town in between lazing on pristine, white beaches or discover the magic of the coral reefs and spectacular marine life in the waters around Zanzibar.
Day 1 – 2: Stone Town
Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by a representative from To Africa Tours & Safaris representative for your road transfer to your hotel. Spend two nights at Zanzibar Serena Inn. Accommodation is in a standard room with an en-suite bathroom. Your stay is on a half board basis.
Day 3: Zanzibar Coast
After breakfast you will be transferred to Matemwe Bungalows. Spend one night at Matemwe Bungalows. Accommodation is in a suite with en-suite facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis. Activities include guided walks on the reef & nearby village.
Day 4: Dolphin Tour
This morning you will be collected from your hotel for your excursion. The drive from Stone Town to Kizimkazi a small village to the southern point of the island takes one hour. The surface of the Kizimkazi channel is broken by the skimming arcs of wild bottle-nosed dolphins. Here you are taken by an outboard engine boat into the sea to see the dolphins, and if lucky you will be able to swim quite close with them, as they are very friendly and playful. Please note that the dolphins at Kizimkazi are wild but there is an 85% chance of seeing these animals.
Snorkeling is also part of this tour (snorkeling equipment can be hired at the site). Kizimkazi is also the site of a 12th Century Mosque, the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa, the return trip includes a visit to this Mosque which still contains the famous Kufic scripts in its walls. Note: Lunch is not included on this tour but can be obtained at the site.
Day 4-6: Zanzibar Coast
Spend three nights at Matemwe Bungalows. Accommodation is in a suite with en-suite facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis. Activities include guided walks on the reef & nearby village.
Day 7: Zanzibar Airport
Day at leisure until your scheduled transfer back to Zanzibar Airport where our services end

Day 1-2: Mnemba Island
Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport you will be met by a To Africa Tours & Safaris representative for your scheduled road & boat transfer to Mnemba Island Lodge.
Spend two nights at Mnemba Island. Accommodation is in a beach bungalows on raised platforms, made of indigenous woven palm, palm fronds and fine basket weave with en-suite bathroom facilities. Your stay is on a full board basis including scheduled activities. Activities include scuba diving (2 dives per day), snorkeling, and kayaking, salt water fly-fishing and windsurfing
Day 3-4: Coastal Resort, Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will be transferred by boat and road to The Palms. Spend two nights at The Palms. Accommodation is in a villa with a full en-suite bathroom, living room, dressing room and a large furnished terrace with views of the Indian Ocean. Your stay is on a full board basis.
Day 5: Zanzibar Airport
After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Zanzibar Airport where our services end.
