That quality is still maintained today and each of the five vineyards produces award-winning wines.  Today visitors to Constantia are also welcomed by the tranquility and beauty which charmed Simon van der Stel so much. Wine may be tasted and bought at the Constantia estates which also house souvenir and gift shops.
