Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway to a majestic continent. The Mother City is a place where old and new harmoniously converge – in history, architecture, cultural pursuits and the essence of its people. The city is dominated by a towering, table-shaped mountain, set on a peninsula of soaring, rocky heights and lush valleys, where two oceans converge- Indian and Atlantic. That quality is still maintained today and each of the five vineyards produces award-winning wines.  Today visitors to Constantia are also welcomed by the tranquility and beauty which charmed Simon van der Stel so much. Wine may be tasted and bought at the Constantia estates which also house souvenir and gift shops.
