Day 1: Depart USA
Depart from New York or Washington, DC for your flight to Cape Town, South Africa via Johannesburg on South African Airways.
Day 2: Arrive Cape Town -
On arrival at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport’s Central Terminal Building/Terminal B, collect your luggage and then clear Customs & Immigration. Connect with your flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met (please look out for your names on a signboard in the Arrivals Hall) by a To Africa Tours & Safari representative and taken by private transfer to the Vineyard Hotel. Originally built in 1799 by Lady Anne Barnard, the Vineyard Hotel & Spa is an admired blend of historical and contemporary design. Known for its spectacular quiet setting, on the banks of the Liesbeeck River, the 4-star deluxe Vineyard Hotel & Spa is situated on six acres of landscaped gardens in a quiet and lush Cape Town suburb. Day 3: Cape Town
Today you will have at leisure to explore Cape Town or just relax at the hotel. From the landmark beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay to the vibrant V&A Waterfront and Cape Town city center, the award-winning wine farms of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek - time spent in Cape Town will not be forgotten. Cape Town is a sophisticated city at the gateway to a majestic continent. The Mother City is a place where old and new harmoniously converge – in history, architecture, cultural pursuits and the essence of its people. The city is dominated by a towering, table-shaped mountain, set on a peninsula of soaring, rocky heights and lush valleys, where two oceans converge- Indian and Atlantic. Natural beauty and the fast pace and bright lights of a great urban centre meld effortlessly here. Cape Town offers a myriad things to do and places to see, whatever your tastes, inclinations or budget.

Day 4: Cape Town
Today you will be taken on a complimentary visit to Kirstenbosch Gardens. This evening enjoy a complimentary 3-course dinner for two at The Square Restaurant at the Vineyard Hotel, excluding drinks. With over 3500 species of flora and fauna, Kirstenbosch Gardens is regarded as one of the finest botanical gardens in the world. With the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain, there’s nothing to touch it. Kirstenbosch has remarkable floral displays throughout the year. There is also an exhibit of Zimbabwean stone sculptures in the sculpture garden that is fascinating and kids will enjoy playing around these massive works. Day 5: Cape Town - Constantia Wine Farm.
Today you will be taken on a complimentary visit to a Constantia Wine Farm.
Constantia is the birthplace of the wine farming industry in South Africa. As you drive through the beautiful historical valley it is no wonder the first Governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel, chose this area for his farm, Constantia. The world famous wines from Constantia were sought after by royalty in the eighteenth century, and still to this day, world class wines are being produced and receive accolades for its escalating quality. That quality is still maintained today and each of the five vineyards produces award-winning wines. Today visitors to Constantia are also welcomed by the tranquility and beauty which charmed Simon van der Stel so much. Day 6: Cape Winelands - Stellenbosch
Today you will be taken by private transfer from the Vineyard Hotel to the D’Ouwe Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch, nestled in the beautiful Cape Winelands. This evening, enjoy a 3-course dinner for two at D’Ouwe Werf Hotel, excluding drinks. D'Ouwe Werf Hotel is situated in the heart of the Winelands, within easy reach of all the attractions in the Western Cape. D'Ouwe Werf was established in 1802 and has gracefully welcomed guests since then. The historic hotel has 38 individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, a gorgeous courtyard with a swimming pool and a restaurant, with fine traditional Cape fare. Day 7: Cape Winelands - Stellenbosch
Today you will be taken on a complimentary Vine Hopper trip in Stellenbosch.
The exciting Vine Hopper Trip (Hop-on-hop-off service on the Stellenbosch wine route) is the only way to experience Stellenbosch's surroundings by hopping on or hopping off anywhere, anytime on the wine route. Visit several wine estates and you decide where and how long you want to stay at each farm.
Stellenbosch is the second oldest European settlement in South Africa, which has some of the best preserved historical buildings. Steeped in history, this beautiful university town is the heart of the Cape Winelands region, and is surrounded by stunning wine estates. You will also see fine examples of Cape Dutch architecture. Day 8: Depart South Africa
Today you will be taken by private transfer from D’Ouwe Werf Hotel to Cape Town Airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg. (B)
On arrival at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport’s Central Terminal Building/Terminal B, connect with your scheduled international South African Airways flight back to the USA.
